DNS Speed Test
Tests DNS resolution speed from your browser using DNS-over-HTTPS. Each provider is queried multiple times to calculate average latency.
What this tests: Your browser sends DNS queries directly to each provider using DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH). This measures the round-trip time from your device to each DNS resolver.
Methodology: 2 warm-up queries are discarded, then 5 measured queries are averaged. This reduces the impact of cold connections and gives a more accurate picture.
What the results mean:
- < 30ms — Excellent. Provider likely has an edge node near you.
- 30–80ms — Good. Typical for most connections.
- 80–150ms — Moderate. May add noticeable delay to page loads.
- > 150ms — Slow. Consider switching to a faster provider.
Note: Results can vary based on your ISP, location, network congestion, and VPN usage. Run the test a few times for a reliable comparison.
